2010 Malbec

Estate Malbec 2010

Columbia Valley, Washington

The 2010 vintage is a dark, fruit driven wine with aroma and flavor expression typical of high quality Eastern Washington Malbecs.

The nose opens up with everything you would expect from Malbec: big fruits, exotic spices and generous earthiness. Hints of black pepper and raspberries greet you on the nose while on the palate you will experience a full-bodied, fruit driven wine with notes of blueberry, black raspberry and super ripened strawberries. All these flavors are wrapped in an earthy, toasted oak and cedar finish that is sure to leave you pleased!

Stephen Tanzer’s IWC Nov/Dec 2014 – 90 POINTS. “Bright full red. Lovely floral perfume to the aromas of raspberry and spices. Supple, creamy red fruit flavors show enticing sweetness and a complicating saline nuance. Smooth, silky and long on the back end, with sweet red fruit flavors carrying through nicely.”
