Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

2011 Cabernet Sauvignon

Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

Columbia Valley

The 2011 vintage was one of the cooler growing seasons that we have experienced in some time. We experienced a cool summer that had us on our toes to make sure that we had amazing fruit to harvest. This meant canopy management and smaller crop loads. All of this struggle resulted in deep, rich wines with tons of character.

Notes of black pepper, cherry cola and earthiness on the nose. A creamy mouth feel with flavors of red cherries and strawberries on the palate. The bright red fruits change to rich darker fruits with a nice amount of punchy tannins that Eastern Washington Cabernet should have. Good now until 2018.
