In 2009 Basel Cellars made it's first steps into the future with the release of the Earth Series wine. This 2007 vintage is the start of many that celebrate sustainable and organic practices in hope of protecting what is most important to farming, The Earth. The Basel Cellars tasting room is now 100% waste free due to our new recycling program, also partial proceeds from The Earth Series will be donated annually to an organization that shares our drive and effort to protect the Earth.
In 2009 our vineyards "Double River & Pheasant Run" became certified sustainable along with a salmon safe certification. Currently we are working towards recieving our organic certification.
